Iris

Iris boring
Into the dark

Gaping
Hungry
Expanding mouth
And gulping
Down
The liquor
Light

Inside
Mirrors
Strike
And beings
Multiply

Panting
Beckoning
The shroud
Closer
So to
Tear
The drape
Away
Forever

Piercing
Boldly
All things
Brightening
In the heat
Of desire

Hidden
Heartbeats
Sing

Twist
As fire.
