Boat

Thin boat
Is sailing
Forth
Like river
To the sea
Of dreams
Of afar
Distant
Quelling
The fears
Of nothing
Here
As death
As dark
As winter
Babe
Baaing
For the sharp
Lick
Of sudden
End.

Things
Close
And things
Begin.

But today
This day
Is not
One of
Them.

Today
Is a day
For sailing
And
Forgetting
All
Else.

In gasp
I push
The boat

Out.
