This year I and many other WordPress poets (and beyond) participated in the #poetsforpeace challenge, a collaborative effort and joining together of poets from all over the world with the simple message of peace, truth, and hope, in response to the outbreak of hate, violence, and grief occurring around the globe.

Praxis Magazine Online in partnership with 100,000 Poets For Change has now officially released “Peace Poem, 2016”, with over 250 segments and over 100 contributors. I am immensely happy and proud to have been a part. Kudos go out to the hard work of Neha Dasgupta-Parmar, M. Zane McClellan, and Marie Lukasik Wallace, who made all this possible.
