A jagged night
Biting down
Sweeping in large
Wasps of indigo blue
Like young lilac
Fresh blackberry
A pearl gouged
By the deep sea
In lieu of this darkness
A pale bird
Carrying the soul in a twig
Pass the trees
Pass my window
Throwing songs
In hopes that light will soon spring
In deafening howl.
Lovely, this has really tickled my fancy this morning
Thanks very much! Glad you liked it 🙂
