A Loving Poem

Don’t you love?

The arc of a brow,
The curl of a lip,
The folds of a stomach
Bending down to greet you.

Don’t you love?

Split ends,
Sparse eyelashes,
A crow’s foot
Snatching your attention.

Don’t you love?

Loud laughs,
A looping signature, a handprint,
Quiet gazes from across a room.

You should love.

Start loving.
