This moment is the heightened senses, a rose unraveling
quick as an explosion, the sudden shattering of a window
from a planetary baseball, fast rushing of my hidden bones
into the oncoming pavement, there is no holding it in, I am
about to bear witness, to the slow whipping of my limbs,
the grueling pirouette of your neck, the steady vinyl of skipping
screams, this held first strike of flesh meeting metal and the
sluggish rippling of my thigh opening, river from the vein rolling
outward like a tongue, looking to lick the streaking night.
